Shura chairman congratulates BACA chief

Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh sent a cable of congratulations to Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa on the election of Bahrain as head of the World Heritage Commission.
Al-Saleh also congratulated Shaikha Mai on her confirmation as president of the World Heritage Commission for next year, hailing the landmark achievement in recognition of her efforts and contribution to protect national heritage and promoting culture in Bahrain. He expressed pride in the achievement, hailing dedicated efforts to promote Bahrain’s standing on the world tourism and cultural map.
