
Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah has lauded efforts by the Senyar voluntary team, affiliated to the Voluntary Work Centre.
Receiving members of the team on Monday, the Minister said their efforts are "valuable, fruitful and prompted by a sense of patriotism and a desire for serving Kuwait." Sheikh Salman also commended the great and vital role by Chairperson of Voluntary Work Center Sheikha Amthal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to entrench voluntary work in the country, a statement by the Ministry said.
"The Ministry of Information and Ministry of State for Youth Affairs will spare no effort to extend bridges of cooperation and support to members of the team," the Minister was quoted as saying.
For their part, the Senyar members expressed their gratitude to Sheikh Salman for the support they have received from the Ministry of Information since the team was formed.
They offered the Minister some books and documentaries on their activities. The Minister also received a delegation from the Gulf Disability Society and stressed support by Ministry of Information and the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs to their efforts.
The society team thanked the Minister for all forms he has offered to the society and sponsoring its activities.
