Acting Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah Wednesday discussed, in telephone calls, with Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, Jordan's Foreign Minister Nasser Gouda and Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Al-Araby the current developments in the war-ravaged Gaza Strip.
During the calls, officials focused on ways to ensure the continuation of the 72-hour humanitarian truce which began Tuesday, mediated by Egypt, between Israel and Palestinian factions, including Hamas to put an end to the fighting and restore calm and stability to the region.
Also in the conversations, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled reviewed several international and regional files with senior Arab officials.
