Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Tolerance celebrates International Day

Ahmed Khalfan Al Mansouri, Secretary-General of the Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Tolerance, has said that the International Day of Peace has a special meaning in the UAE, highlighting the message that this day sends to the world.
Marking the annual occasion, celebrated on 21st September, Al Mansouri affirmed that the values of peace are a part of the UAE's heritage and culture, and is consistent with the spirit of Islam. "We in the UAE, and under the guidance of our wise leadership, spare no effort to establish a culture of openness and civilised dialogue that contribute to the rejection of fanaticism and extremist thought."
