Druze Sheikh Akl, Naiim Hassan, received at the community house in Beirut, the Minister of Energy and Water, Ceasar Abi Khalil, who briefed him on the ministry's plans.
The pair also discussed the general situation.
Hassan said "all the plans to address the chronic electricity crisis must be based on clear scientific grounds and a specific and transparent framework, so as to stop the extreme waste in this sector," Hassan said
