
Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal inaugurated Monday a youth center at the locality of In-Guezzam in the province of Tamanrasset (1970 km extreme south of Algiers).
Sellal, who is on working visit to this locality, inquired about youth activities within this structure of which he visited some rooms, including those of Internet and audiovisual aids.
He urged local officials to ensure the opening of this youth center till late at night to allow them to fully enjoy it.
A program approval worth DZD 105 million was given to this project under the plan meant to support economic growth in 2010. The project consists of various workshops that may contribute to the development and promotion of recreation and leisure for youth in the region, the data sheet says.
This youth center, whose construction started in August 2011 by a private company, was welcomed by young people as it enables them to pursue their leisure activities, stressed local officials in charge of youth and sport I the province of Tamanrasset.
