Secretary of Holy Synod hails police vigilance in foiling attack on Alex’s church

Secretary of the Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church Bishop Rafael on Sunday hailed the high vigilance of policemen who succeeded in aborting a terrorist attack on a church in Alexandria.
On his Facebook page, Bishop Rafael thanked the police apparatus for its efforts to stop the occurrence of a new disaster in a church in Alexandria.
Security forces have dismantled a terrorist cell comprising six elements, including two suicide bombers, who were plotting to attack one of Alexandria's churches, the Interior Ministry announced on Saturday.
