
The Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE) staff were introduced to the new Civil Service Bureau (CSB) performance management system "Adaa". A CSB team shed light on the new appraisal scheme which was launched recently following directives from the Cabinet. SCE Chief Executive Officer Dr. Mohammed Mubarak bin Daina attended the session along with other officials and personnel.
The CSB team included performance management specialists Mamdooh Al-Maloud and Fatima Al-Amer who highlighted the concept of performance and management strategies and procedures. Under the new appraisal scheme, the annual assessment system will cover twelve months – from September 1 to August 31. The new system, which focuses on basic professional competences, has been expanded to include assistant-undersecretaries and directors along with personnel under their authority. SCE Chief Executive Officer Dr. Mohammed Mubarak bin Daina commended CSB-led efforts to enhance the standard of Government performance, wishing the team in charge of "Adaa" appraisal scheme every success.
