
Majlis Al-Shura held here today its 67th regular session under the chairmanship of Deputy Speaker of the Council Dr. Mohammed bin Amin Al-Jafri.
The Council's Assistant Speaker Dr. Fahad bin Mu'tad Al-Hamad said that the Council approved studying a proposal on a draft regulation on consumer protection including the establishment of Consumer Protection Commission linked to the Prime Minister.
He noted that the Council decided to refer a draft regulation on protection of public money to a special committee for studying it, indicating that the Council also discussed reports of a number of governmental bodies.
