Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Saturday instructed provision of 200 million riyals (USD 53 million) for the Palestinian Red Crescent in Gaza Strip, the Finance Minister announced.
The sum will be used to provide medicine and medical equipment for the treatment of Palestinian people who are injured by the Israeli bombardments on Gaza Strip, Ibrahim Al-Assaf said in a statement cited by the official SPA news agency.
Israeli warplanes have been bombing Gaza Strip for seven days now killing 167 people and injuring some 1,120 others.
