Saudi Cabinet lauds historical ties with Kuwait

The Saudi Cabinet on Monday commended the "deep historical and intimate" ties with Kuwait, saying both countries are keen on enhancing them in all fields.
The Cabinet held today its weekly session chaired by Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
The cabinet was briefed on the outcomes of the talks held by King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on prospects of bilateral cooperation and the regional and international developments, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The Cabinet also discussed the developments of events on the regional and international levels.
It also commended the Syrian Refugees Case Conference, hosted by Germany, during which the Kingdom reaffirmed emphasis on its firm position, seeking a just solution to the Syrian crisis and achieving the aspirations of the Syrian people, as well as supporting efforts to assist and protect displaced Syrians and refugees.
Today's meeting also voiced the Kingdom's denunciation of recent plans announced by Israel to build 1,000 new settler houses in East Jerusalem.
