Saudi Arabia welcomes reconciliation deal between Fatah, Hamas

A well-placed source at the Saudi Foreign Ministry welcomed an Egypt-brokered reconciliation agreement between Fatah and Hamas movements, the Saudi news agency (SPA) reported Friday.
The Saudi Kingdom hoped the deal would bring an end to the Palestinian split and help them gain their legitimate rights in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and international legitimacy resolutions, the source added.
