Salih gives directive for implementing electronic government programme

The First Vice - President of the Republic, Bakri Hassan Salih, has given a directive for implementation of the electronic government program at all the state's ministries and institutions.
This came when he received Sunday at his office at the Republican Palace the Minister of Science and Communication, Dr. Tahani Abdalla Attia.
In a statement after the meeting, the minister said that she informed the First Vice - President on the electronic government program and the linkage between the center and the states.
She said that they also deliberated about outcome of the recent Forum on Information in the States which was held in Al-Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan State.
She said that the meeting also tackled the participation of the First Vice - President at the Forum on Information and Communication which is due to begin next Tuesday in the Chadian capital, Ndjamena, on Tuesday.
