Minister of Information, Melhem Riachy, voiced support for the statement issued by the Editors' Syndicate regarding the amendment of the press liberties and the publications' law.
"I second the statement of the Editors' Syndicate, especially pertaining to the amendment of the publications' law and the press liberties, with the hope that next year we have a syndicate that provides immunity for every journalist," Riachy said in a tweet on Wednesday
