Minister of Information Melhem Riachy launched a conference on "Protecting Media Creativity from Piracy", organized by the Ministry of Information and the Internal Security Forces, under the patronage of Prime Minister Saad Hariri.

The conference is to be held on Friday November 3.

Riachy called on the concerned ministries to participate, namely the Ministries of Culture and Telecommunications.

"If we act, we can tackle and reduce piracy, and that's what the conference is about," he said.

On a different note, the minister hoped the Tele Liban crisis would end soon, stressing the need to preserve this state television's archive
