
Citizens of Palmyra city in Homs took to the streets to commemorate the 68th anniversary of Independence Day and to support the Syrian Army's battle against terrorism. The participants flowed to the city streets and visited army's checkpoints, waving the national flags and raising banners that glorify the meaning of martyrdom, Syrian Arab News Agency reported. They expressed adherence to national unity, rejecting any foreign intervention in Syria's internal affairs. The participants reiterated their full support to the Syrian Arab Army in facing terrorists, affirming confidence that Syria will come out of the crisis victorious.
