Qatari Newspapers Hail Results of HH Sheikha Moza's Visit to Sudan

Qatari daily newspapers on Monday hailed the signing  of agreements and Memoranda of Understanding between Silatech Foundation and a number of Sudanese organizations in order to support and create jobs opportunities and expand economic opportunities for young people in Sudan on the sidelines of the visit of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, member of the UN Sustainable Development Goals Advocacy Group, to Sudan
The Qatari newspapers affirmed the success of Silatech as a regional, social and leading institution that signed a cooperation agreement with the National Commission for Refugees to support the economic empowerment of Syrian refugees in Sudan, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding with the Supreme Council for Welfare and Intellectual Safeguard to prevent the radicalization of young people the institution, noting to the institution's plan to provide more than one million jobs for young people in Sudan by 2021. 
Under the theme "A leading role of Silatech in Sudan," Al Raya Arabic daily newspaper in its editorial Monday stressed the importance of HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser's visit to Sudan, noting to the projects implemented in Sudan by Education Above All (EAA) and Silatech foundations in the field of Alternative Learning Programme (ALP) and projects supported by HH's institutions to improve opportunities for young people in Sudan. 
The paper noted to the Alternative Learning Programme (ALP) that is one of 3,900 in Sudan sponsored by Education Above All (EAA) through its program" Educate A Child" in partnership with UNICEF which is designed for out of school children who have never attended school, have dropped out, or who cannot be mainstreamed into the formal education system due to gaps in their achievement. 
Al Raya said that the signed agreements and memoranda of understanding affirm the pivotal role Silatech in a number of in a number of Arab countries, including Sudan as these new partnerships will lead to a series of initiatives aimed at creating one million new jobs for young Sudanese people by 2021 and also include support for Sudan's national food security strategy by creating a new generation of youth agribusiness entrepreneurs. 
Al-Watan newspaper noted to the Qatari-Sudanese relationship, saying that its positive results are being felt directly by the Sudanese people, especially the young generation, who was the focus of HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser's keenness during her visit to Sudan, specifically in education and employment which are the most important problems facing Arab youths in general, referring to Qatar's pursuit through its institutions to develop innovative solutions. 
The newspaper said that the visit of HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, member of the UN Sustainable Development Goals Advocacy Group, to Sudan was a great pleasure to young Sudanese, where HH witnessed the signing of several agreements and Memoranda of Understanding between Silatech Foundation and a number of Sudanese organizations, which include providing jobs for 800,000 Sudanese. It added that this is a great and important contribution in reducing unemployment rate among Arab youths in general and Sudanese in particular. 
Al Watan also said that providing educational opportunities was strongly presented on the agenda of HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser's visit to Sudan, as there are 3,900 programs in Sudan sponsored by the Foundation through its "Educate a Child" programme in partnership with UNICEF, adding that HH visited one of these projects. 
The paper concluded that education and employment are very important to achieve sustainable development to protect Arab youth from dangers and HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser devotes her efforts to achieve. 
For its part, (Al-Sharq) daily said in its editorial today that the visit of HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, member of the UN Sustainable Development Goals Advocacy Group, to Sudan will open future prospects in front of people who missed education through the programs adopted by the Education Above All and Silatech foundations. 
The newspaper pointed out that HH Sheikha Moza culminated her visit to Sudan by witnessing the signing of agreements between Silatech and several Sudanese organisations aimed at creating one million new jobs for young Sudanese people by 2021, which is considered a beginning of salvation from the nightmare of unemployment in many Arab countries. 
Moreover, Al-Sharq said that the agreements and Memoranda of Understanding signed between Silatech and a number of Sudanese organizations and witnessed by HH will support the strategy of national food security in Sudan through the creation of new generations of entrepreneurs of Sudanese youth in the agricultural field, in collaboration with the Agricultural Bank of Sudan, Qatar National Bank and the Farmers Commercial Bank in order to provide financial support for young people in this field. 
The paper added that this support also included Syrian refugees in Sudan through a cooperation agreement with the National Commission for Refugees to support the economic empowerment of Syrian refugees. 
Al-Sharq daily emphasized that HH Sheikha Moza's initiatives strengthen hope for a better future in the Arab world and renew support for social development process to achieve sustainable development according to the goals of the United Nations.
