Qatari Advisory Council holds weekly meeting

The Advisory Council held Monday its ordinary weekly meeting of its 42nd regular session under the chairmanship of HE Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khulaifi. At the outset of the meeting, HE the Advisory Council's Secretary-General Fahd bin Mubarak Al Khayareen read the agenda, which was then agreed upon. The Advisory Council endorsed the minutes of its previous session. A memo from the Cabinet General Secretariat addressed to the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning on the Advisory Council's recommendations concerning a draft law amending some provisions of the law No. (4) of the year 1985 regarding buildings organization was read out. The Council then took note of it. The Council also reviewed a draft law on exempting certain types of goods from customs duties and decided to refer it to the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee to study it and submit report thereon to the Council.
