The State of Qatar participated in the fourth meeting of the heads of the GCC supreme courts
Manama - Arab Today

The State of Qatar participated in the fourth meeting of the heads of the GCC supreme courts and courts of cassation with a delegation headed by HE President of the Cassation Court and Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council Masoud Mohamed Al Amiri.
The two-day meeting, which came to an end today in Manama, discussed several issues including follow-up report on the implementation of the strategic plan for the GCC supreme courts and courts of cassation, training judges of the GCC supreme courts and courts of cassation, launching the website of the supreme courts and courts of cassation, and calling member states to provide the Secretariat with the regulations and laws governing the work of the supreme courts and courts of cassation.
The meeting also discussed the preparation of a program to visit a number of supreme courts with different judicial systems in other country in the world, and agreed on the importance of holding workshops on topics that facilitate litigation procedures and contribute to expedite the adjudication of disputes.
