
Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met visiting Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal here on Sunday and discussed the latest regional developments.
During the meeting, they also discussed ways and means of further promoting and consolidating cooperative relations between Qatar and Algeria in various fields, the Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
Deputy Amir Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani and several other Qatari officials were present in the meeting.
The Algerian prime minister and his accompanying delegation arrived here earlier in the day on a two-day official visit to Qatar.
