
A presidential commission has reached an agreement with all relevant parties to cease fire and stop the bloodshed in the province of Amran and any other area of tension in its surroundings.
The deal stipulates that the cease-fire should continue in all locations in Amran city and its surroundings, or in any other region of the areas of tension.
Any new fortifications by all parties should be lifted in Amran, Hamedan and Bani Matar through the formation of field committees that are not not biased to any of the parties.
Under the deal, the parties involved should ease reopening the Amran-Sanaa road that to be secured by of the military police within three days.
The deal gives those killed in clashes with army forces in the al-Dhubr area the status of martyrs and compensations should be paid to their families.
It also stipulates for immediate changes into the military and police command in Amran that meet the aspirations of the people of the province and their demands in the course of one month.
