
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, on his part, voiced thanks and appreciation for President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on his stances supportive of Palestine and his efforts to reach calmination and ending the Israeli siege of the enclave according to the Egyptian initiative approved in August.
Addressing the Gaza reconstruction conference, Abbas asserted that Egypt's hosting the conference is a continuation of its leading role in backing the Palestinian people and their just issue.
Abbas also voiced thanks and appreciation for the countries and organizations which responded to the invitation of garnering up support to the reconstruction of the damaged enclave.
He said the Palestinian government has outlined a plan for the reconstruction of the enclave with a value of dlrs 4 billion, noting that this plan will be put into effect with full responsibility and transparency under the supervision of the international bodies.
He voiced confidence over the will of the regional and international bodies that will garner up necessary support for the reconstruction of the enclave caused by the Israeli offensive
