President Rouhani calls for high turnout in international Qods day rallies

President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday called for high turnout in the International Qods Day rallies to be held on the last Friday of the holy fasting month of Ramdan.
According to the President Office website, he stressed that active participation in the rallies means more voices raised in support of the defenseless Palestinians.
The President reiterated that the huge public turnout in the worldwide ceremonies to be held on the occasion will deliver a stronger message to the usurper regime of Israel that its aggressive massacre and occupation will end soon.
President Rouhani stressed that the Holy Qods, both from a religious point of view and also its position in the region and international arena, is of prime importance for the Iranian nation.
He said the International Qods Day rallies in fact served to prove that Muslims will never forget the holy land and the homeless Palestinian nation.
