President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received a letter from Dr. Haider Al-Abadi , Prime Minister of Iraq, dealing with issues of mutual interest and latest regional and international developments.
The letter was delivered today to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces by Iraqi Defence Minister Dr. Khaled Al-Obaidi.
During the meeting, held at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed and Al-Obaidi discussed bilateral ties and ways to enhance them, as well as regional developments.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Under Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's court and Lt. General Juma Ahmed Al Bowardi, Military Advisor to His Highness the Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
