
President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi on Wednesday received Sudan’s presidential delegation chaired by President Assistant Professor Ibrahim Ahmed Ghandour. During the meeting, Ghandour handed over a letter to Hadi from his Sudanese counterpart Omar al-Bashir in which he hoped Yemenis all success, progress and prosperity. Al-Bashir lauded historic relations between Yemen and Sudan, and the success of Yemen’s National Dialogue Conference YND). Hadi expressed his pleasure over this visit, hailing bilateral unique relations between Yemen and Sudan and asking the Sudanese official to onvey his greeting to President al-Bashir. During the meeting, Hadi detailed Yemen’s transition, pointing out that Yemen could overcome consequences of the 2011 events through reconciliation and the GCC-mediated initiative.
