President Abbas criticise aggressive Israeli practices at al-Aqsa Mosque

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas sent a letter to the US Administration urging it to step in immediately and force Israel into stopping the aggressive practices at Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Muslims' third holiest shrine.
President Abbas warned against the Israeli schemes on time and spatial categorization of the holy sites, according Palestine News Agency (WAFA).
The Israeli practices risk triggering a serious explosion of the situation which could be uncontrollable, the report said, citing the letter.
Jewish settlers have repeatedly broken into the Mosque under protection of the Israeli occupation police.
