Policemen assassination puts north Sinai on high alert

North Sinai security forces were put on high state of alert in response to the assassination of three policemen in el-Arish city early Wednesday.
The policemen were shot dead on Wednesday while driving a pick up truck in North Sinai.
Unidentified men in another car fired at the victims in el-Arish city.
The victims were identified as Colonel Ibrahim Ahmed Badran, Sergeant Abdel Salam Swelam, and Soldier Hamada Gamal.
The police are combing the city for the suspects.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
