Plan to assign minor accidents to insurance companies under study

The General Directorate of Traffic and the Bahrain Insurance Association have reviewed mechanisms to assign dispute-free minor accidents to insurance companies to enhance and speeding up services.
The matter discussed in a meeting chaired by Deputy Director-General of Traffic, Colonel Mohammed Ali Daraj and it would enhance services provided to the public and empower the role of the private sector in a way that doesn’t clash with legal requirements in case of a major violation that needs the interference of the traffic department. The two sides agreed to review the technical and legal mechanisms of the project and the formation of a joint team to conduct a study on the project.
