Saudi Minister of Haj and Umrah Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Taher Bentin confirmed that more than two million pilgrims have managed to reach Arafat's high level easily, by combining the efforts of an integrated system of government agencies and the private sector, Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

In a television interview with the Saudi channel, the minister praised the efforts of the security forces in operation of more than 20,000 buses and similar private cars, pointing out that the Kingdom is making great efforts with Hajj before arrival of pilgrims, in the Kingdom.

An integrated electronic system was created to allow pilgrimage missions or pilgrims themselves to register their information before they arrive, the dates of their trips and the services provided to them in their homes.

"We, at the Ministry of Haj and Umrah deal with the journey of pilgrims through a series of tracks that are to celebrate the pilgrims, the first phase begins to promote pilgrims from the outlets to their homes, whether in Makkah or Madinah, if they arrive in Madinah first, the second stage is the transition phase of moving pilgrims to Makkah, or those who wish to visit Madinah later after the pilgrimage, while the next coming phase begins with the stage of ascending to Mina or Arafat, Dr. Bentin concluded, SPA also said.
