The leader of the Faithful to the Country (PFP), Mostafa Kamel, suggested Sunday to limit the president's term of office to two in the future constitution, which is under consultations.
"We are for limiting the president's term of office to two, of seven years each," he told reporters.
Mostafa Kamel made the statement following a meeting with the minister of state, principle private secretary to the presidency of the Republic, Ahmed Ouyahia, as part of the consultations on the constitutional revision project.
During the meeting, the leader of the PFP mainly focused on the articles of the draft constitution proposed by the presidency of the Republic, mainly those relating to individual and collective freedoms, as well as human rights.
