Many political parties expressed their support for the call of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to field more young people to work in the public and political life.
Head of the Popular Democratic Alliance Party Abdel Ghaffar Shokr said he fully backs the president's viewpoint especially after the youths' role in the 25th January revolution.
"The youth representation in the public and political life should be increased to at least 50 percent," said Deputy Herad of the Generation Party Nabil Azmy.
General Secretary of el-Nour Party Galal Morah said his party had already started training and preparing youth to be active participants in the political life.
In a speech on the occasion marking the 41st anniversary of the October War victory Wednesday, Sisi urged all political parties in Egypt to give more attention to the young people's participation in carving out the present and future of the nation.
