National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim sent an official invitation to his Iraqi counterpart Salim Al-Juburi to visit Kuwait.
In his cable, Al-Ghanim praised the steadily developing Kuwaiti-Iraqi relations in different domains.
The Kuwait top lawmaker said that he is looking forwards toward more cooperation to achieve the interests of the two Arab neighbors.
Al-Ghanim added that he is confident that Al-Juburi's visit to Kuwait at the head of an Iraqi parliamentary delegation would give impetus to parliamentary relations.
The visit would also provide a chance for Kuwaiti and Iraqi lawmakers to exchange views about issues of common concern, he said.
