
A Palestinian teenager died Sunday from his wounds he sustained last week during a demonstration in occupied eastern Jerusalem, medical sources announced.
Mohammad Sunuqrut, 16, was shot in the head with a rubber-coated bullet by Israeli soldiers during a rally in Wadi Joz neighborhood on September 1, medical sources stated to the press, but that the wounds were very critical and Sunuqrut could not bear them any longer.
Last week, separate areas in Jerusalem witnessed violent confrontations during rallies by Palestinians, condemning Israeli hostility on the Gaza Strip, frequent attacks on Jerusalem, and attempts to Judaize the holy city.
