Head of the Amman-based Palestinian National Council Salim Al-Za'noun asserted on Wednesday that Egypt plays a significant role in backing the Palestinian cause at all levels.
He wished that Egypt could restore stability and security through eradicating terrorist acts in the Sinai peninsula and nationwide.
In exclusive statements to MENA, Al-Za'noun said that they appreciate the role played by Egypt and Jordan in supporting the rights of the Palestinian people.
He noted that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has malicious political orientations towards Al-Aqsa Mosque and wants to change the situation in the Eastern Jerusalem by allowing more extremist Jews to storm Al-Aqsa mosque and perform their rituals there.
