Four Palestinian human rights groups started a campaign Sunday to document war crimes committed by Israeli occupation forces during their recent aggression on Gaza Strip.
The groups, in a statement, said around 100 people were collecting information from the field about the Israeli war crimes in the strip, in addition to circumstances in which people were killed or how properties were destroyed.
The groups said they separately started documenting the Israeli atrocities since the first day of aggression, before combining efforts in this campaign.
The groups are the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, Al-Haq, a Ramallah-based non-governmental human rights organization, Al-Dameer Association for Human Rights and Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights.
They are also documenting the destruction of schools, mosques, universities, water wells, farm lands and vehicles.
The teams of the groups were interviewing victims of the Israeli attacks and eyewitnesses.
The groups also urged Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to swiftly sign the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in order to pursue the Israeli war criminals.
