Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas .
Ramallah - Arab Today

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said today the authority is taking crucial decisions in 2018, including resorting to the international courts and accessing the international organisations to hold Israel accountable for its violation of the international law and review signed agreements.

The Palestinian President condemned, according to Palestine News Agency, the discriminatory resolution voted for unanimously by all the Israeli ministers in the Likud Central Committee to annex the occupied Palestinian lands to expand the illegal Israeli settlements. He affirmed that the resolution aims to end the Palestinian existence and the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people by imposing the project of Grand Israel on the historical Palestine.
Pointing out the Knesset’s voting today to amend article 2 of the by-law on Jerusalem, the Palestinian President described the move as a brutal aggression on the Palestinian people, land and holy sites. He demanded the international community to act promptly to stop the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian rights and the resolutions of the international legitimacy, led by members of the government extremist coalition.
