
President of the Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission and Director of the Elections' Executive Committee Abdulla bin Hassan Al Buainain announced that registration of Bahrainis abroad at the voters' roll ended last night, November 15.
In a statement to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), Al-Buainain said that the number of people registered in the voters' roll would be announced later today.
He added that Bahrainis abroad will starting casting their votes on November 18, from 09:00 a.m to 05:00pm, noting that Japan will be first country in which Bahrainis will start voting, while the USA will be the last.
He pointed out that results of abroad vote will be announced in the end of the election day in the Kingdom –November 22, so as to count the votes of each candidate together.
It is worth noting that the High Elections Committee announced earlier that a total of 349,713 eligible voters will head to the polls inside the kingdom on November 22.
