Oman parliament speaker arrives in Kuwait

Omani Consultative Assembly Speaker Khalid Al-Mawali and his accompanying delegation arrived here on Monday for an official visit to Kuwait at the invitation of National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim.
He was received at the airport by Al-Ghanim, Deputy Speaker Mubrak Al-Khureinij and several other parliament officials.
During his stay here, the Omani speaker is expected to attend the opening session of the National Assembly due on Tuesday.
He will also hold talks with the National Assembly speaker on ways and means of promoting and developing parliament-to-parliament relations, as well as His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubark Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
