Old Cairo explosion has no effect on archeological sites

A media official at the Antiquities Ministry said Tuesday a bomb explosion in Old Cairo earlier in the day had no effect on the archaeological sites in the area.
"The bomb went off outside the wall of the archaeological sites," Hassan Saadallah told MENA.
A primitive bomb planted under a power kiosk substation near the religions complex in Old Cairo went off on Tuesday, causing no casualties.
