Military attaché of the Egyptian embassy in Rabat Brigadier-General Khalid Ali said on Thursday that the 6th of October war victory gave Cairo back a complete control on its lands.
The military official made the remarks in a speech to mark the 41st anniversary of October war victory.
Egypt was among the the first countries in human history to form an army to defend its borders, he told a group of diplomats, intellectuals, journalists and media men.
"Steadfastness of the Egyptian people and the great valor of army restored the dignity and laid foundation of the peaceful democratic life," he said.
