Northern Town e-draw starts

An electronic draw on the distribution of 2807 units located in the Northern Residential Town has started today. The step is in line with the order issued by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister to distribute 4800 housing units to eligible recipients countrywide.

"The e-draw on the units in the Northern Town will continue until late March and cover islands 13 and 14", said Housing Minister Basim bin Yacoub Al-Hamer, hailing the progress of work on the massive project over the past five years.
He extended deepest thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for his support to housing projects, particularly the Northern Town, adding that projects would fast-tracked under the royal order to distribute 40,000 units.
He commended the directives issued by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa to speed up work on the construction and infrastructure components of the Northern Town and fast-track other projects countrywide. He paid tribute to HRH the Crown Prince for directing to include the Northern Town in the distribution programme he ordered in mid-2016.
