NMC marks Flag Day

 Acting Director-General of National Media Council (NMC) Mansour Al Mansouri, hoisted on Thursday the UAE flag in front of the NMC building in the presence of the staff to observe the UAE Flag Day.

It is an occasion that boosts the allegiance and sense of belonging among Emiratis and resident expatriates alike.

Al Mansouri said the Flag Day event is celebration of this nation, and the pride of its achievements. "It is a day to renew loyalty to the homeland, its leadership and an opportunity to pledge to work harder and sacrifice for the homeland to remain a towering role model of progress and development for nations and peoples," he added.

Al Mansouri said as Emiratis are celebrating the Flag Day, they pledge loyalty to the leadership and to defend the homeland, as well as sustain the status of the state on many global indicators.

The NMC offices nationwide concurrently raised the UAE Flag in an embodiment of the unity of the nation and a true reflection of sincere love for the leadership.
