Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi stressed that the deep national awareness constituted the Syrian immunity that prevented the enemy from reaching their objectives.
In an article published in Tishreen Daily on Wednesday, al-Zoubi said the most prominent manifestations of that awareness and immunity has been with the Presidential elections being held and President Bashar al-Assad winning a new presidential term in light of the Syrian Constitution’s provisions.
“The democratic process has also reflected the solidness of the Syrian nationalism… in confronting the ordeal in different social, political, security and military domains,” al-Zoubi said.
The Minister expressed conviction that the Syrian people are able to regain stability and security, in addition to reconstructing what has been destroyed, mending gaps, achieving national reconciliations and expelling invaders.
