
Assistant of the President of the Republic, Musa Mohamed Ahmed, received in his office Monday the Coordinator of Humanitarian and Development Affairs of the UN Development Program, Ali Al-Zaatari, as part of the preparations to hold a meeting pertinent to the demobilization and re-integration of militants of the armed movements of east Sudan.
In a press statement, Al-Zaatari said that the meeting has discussed preparations for demobilization and re-integration of combatants of east Sudan movements and means of enhancing the cooperation between the UN and the government on this file.
Meanwhile, Al-Zaatari hoped that development will prevail in Sudan in general and east Sudan particularly.
