
The Governor of Muharraq Governorate, Salman Isa Bin Hindi - on behalf of himself and the Governorate's inhabitants - has expressed utmost signs of gratitude and appreciation to HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
HRH the Prime Minister had earlier directed more cultural centres commensurate with the importance and ancient history of the Governorate to attract more cultural events and tourism especially after the designation of Manama as the Capital of Asian Culture 2014.
The directives of HRH the Prime Minister reflect his keenness on making Muharraq Governorate the preferred destination for tourists and visitors from all over Bahrain in addition to boosting local family tourism in order to reap the benefits to the Kingdom's national economy and to accelerate the wheel of its development.
The Governor and inhabitants of Muharraq hailed HRH the Prime Minister's constant attentiveness to Muharraq and its inhabitants citing His Royal Highness's keenness on the conservation of Muharraq's cultural history and folklore to maintain its position and further diligence on Muharraq's ancient archaeological landmarks.
The Governor and citizens of Muharraq in their cable of gratitude and appreciation have beseeched Almighty Allah to nurture and preserve His Royal Highness as the treasure of Bahrain and its people.
