MP Michel Moussa
Lebanon - Arab Today

MP Michel Moussa told Voice of Lebanon radio on Thursday that House Speaker Nabih Berri insists on his proposed mixed electoral law, with the possibility of agreeing on amended versions of it.

Moussa explained that the electoral law was not listed on the agenda of the legislative session because discussions were still ongoing among political parties.

"Talks have not reached anywhere yet,not even within the bounds of mixed laws," he said, adding that there was a true chance at reaching consensus.

"The electoral law is the main entrance to political life."
