The number of passengers taking domestic and international flights in 2016 reached over 18 million in Morocco, according to the National Airports Authority (ONDA).

Growth was particularly strong at the airports of Rabat-Salé (+23.69%), Laayoune (+19.95%) and Dakhla (+20.96%), the same source said.


 
Regarding the aircraft movements at the various national airports (161,837 movements) in 2016, the Mohammed V airport recorded the largest increase with 50.34%, followed by Marrakech-Menara airport with 18.05% and Agadir Al Massira with 7.02%.
