
Moroccan King Mohammed VI today held a phone conversation with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and discussed the Palestinians' tragic plight which resulted from the brutal Israeli assault on Gaza Strip.
The Moroccan monarch extended condolences to the martyrs' bereaved families, condemning the systematic Israeli assault on the Palestinian people and territories. He affirmed his country's solidarity with the Palestinian people.
President Abbas thanked King Mohammed VI, also head of Al-Quds Committee, commending Moroccan support to the Palestinian people and their legitimate cause. He also hailed the historic stances of the Moroccan people in support of the Palestinian cause.
