
The graduation ceremony of the 2016 batch of Mohammed V University Agdal - Abu Dhabi and the university's celebration of UAE's 45th National day took place on Thursday.
Held at the National Theatre, the event was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court.
Sheikh Hamed presented certificates to the graduates and congratulated them on completing this important stage in their educational process. He wished them luck in serving their homeland in their future responsibilities.
"Today we are presenting an elite batch of Emirati graduates who have knowledge and science and are ready to serve their country and protect its gains. We work on providing more achievements in the coming years thanks to the support of the far-sighted vision of the prudent leadership," said Dr. Farouk Hamada, Director of Mohammed V University, while addressing the audience.
The graduates expressed happiness at their graduation and extended thanks to the administrative and teaching staff of the university in their efforts. They also said they were looking forward to playing an effective role in the country's march of development.
The event was also attended by Dr. Mohammed Matar Salem Al-Kaabi, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments and Chairman of Aghdal's board of trustees, a number of ambassadors, key officials and members of the teaching and administrative staff of the university.
