Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received today Afzaal Mahmood who presented a copy of his credentials as Ambassador-Designate of Pakistan to Bahrain.
The minister welcomed the ambassador-designate and praised the progress of the friendly relations between Bahrain and Pakistan, stressing the keenness of the Kingdom to consolidate them at all levels. He also emphasised the importance of expanding joint cooperation for the benefit of the two countries and friendly peoples, wishing the ambassador success in his duties.
The ambassador praised the strong relations between Pakistan and Bahrain, affirming his country's constant aspiration to strengthen them to achieve the interests of the two countries and friendly people.
